Eligibility
The 2026 ANZMetSoc Bursary aims to provide support for students and early-career researchers to attend and actively participate in the Metabolomics 2026 Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to promote their career development. The bursary is intended to support student and early-career researcher members in disseminating their research and representing Australia and New Zealand in metabolomics-related work.
❋ Career Status
Two (2) awards will be distributed between students (full/part-time) who are enrolled in a graduate degree and early-career researchers who are less than 5 years from PhD.
Career disruptions will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis
❋ Attendance
Bursary recipients must attend the conference in person and provide their submitted abstract (oral or poster) during the application. You may apply assuming your abstract will be accepted; however, successful applicants will be required to provide proof of both abstract acceptance (once confirmed) and conference attendance.
❋ Membership
This bursary is available to applicants who are current paid members of the Society at the time of application. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact us.

❋ Requirements
Bursary recipients must be residing in Australia or New Zealand at the time the award is announced.
Additionally, recipients must not hold another grant or bursary to attend Metabolomics 2026. If they do, they will be ineligible for this award.
