Happy Holidays!

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to extend our warmest holiday wishes to the ANZMetSoc community. Thank you for your continued engagement, support and contributions throughout the year. We hope you enjoy a safe and restful holiday period and we look forward to an exciting year ahead with many new initiatives planned for 2026.

We are also delighted to welcome two new members to the ANZMetSoc committee:

• Dr Joseph Nastasi, our new Queensland Representative, who is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Queensland

• Dr Alastair Ross, our new New Zealand South Island Representative, is a senior scientist and the metabolomics platform lead at AgResearch (Bioeconomy Science Institute).

We’re excited to have Joe and Alastair on board and look forward to working with them in the year ahead!
